As video gamers can not be particularly cheap hobby. Especially those players who are using the latest versions usually pay about $ 50 to get their hands on new computer games. If you are one of the many who do nothing to wait a bit 'for the game advanced, however, this article could be useful for you. To show how computer games use a lot of money for distribution services online for download directly to your hard drive.
Today, digital gameThe distribution is nothing new. Probably all of you have heard of services such as Steam or Games for Windows and many of you have already bought a game or two from this vendor. But perhaps not all know the special offers and discount periods presented in these pages. All in all, if you are new to the world of digital distribution, or an experienced buyer, I recommend you read.
Steam
Steam is probably the most popular service for distributing online gameInternet. At the time of this writing there are over 1250 games on steam and 30 million active user accounts. This is a very modern and user-friendly and dedicated software for purchase and download games.
Steam also offers discounts on regular computer games, which sometimes reduce the ten or twenty percent of the price of the original game. And now we're talking about very old or very bad computer games, but that applies to titles of noteproducers of the game and only a few months. It is also sometimes a slight discount if ordered in advance. These are usually around 10%.
I would definitely advise you to steam as often as possible and hunt for the title which is expected to review the purchase. Often there are special offers during the week and on weekends. Not to mention a very special price for games during the Christmas period. I have personally bought more than twenty games on Steam and save hundreds of dollars and can betoo!
GOG
Another online sales service that I wanted to talk about in this article is GOG. GOG stands for Good Old Games, and as you can guess, this is the right place, the old classics you've always wanted to play now but was not able, in your local game shop. Fallout, Baldur's Gate and Duke Nukem 3D - all these games are here and waiting for you. The price usually five or ten dollars, and there are different ideas, where you can save up to 75%and get your game literally a few cents.
In conclusion, I must say that I now buy a computer game in business very rare classic. Digital distribution is much better for me, that game is very quickly and directly as possible to my computer and for the best price. Try it and you'll never see in retrospect.
